Worship Council led our annual Remembrance.  A huge effort has been made to make sure that the people who gave their lives both in this conflict and in others are never forgotten. In our school we mark Remembrance in November with a service and a silence in memory of those who have lost their lives. We also plant a fruit tree in memory of those in our own families whom we may have lost.

Dear God,

We want to say thank you for all of those who have protected our freedom and sacrificed their lives in wars and conflict, and all those who continue to protect us today.
Help us to remember them and honour what they have done by respecting them and never forgetting them.
Amen.
